About

About Me, Jeremy Tagliaferre
I love the outdoors. I grew up working at a Boy Scout summer camp in Western PA. It was there I learned that experiential education is my calling. In 2007 I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail. After that I worked on sail training vessels for a few years educating kids about marine sciences and maritime history. Since I have been living on land for a while, I trained for and ran the Cape Cod Marathon in under 3:20. Now I am setting my sights on a cross country bicycle trip to benefit charity.

About My Ride
I will be riding from Astoria, OR to Yorktown, VA to raise money and awareness for World Bicycle Relief. I will be using the TransAmerica bike route during the summer of 2012. Use this blog to follow my ride, donate to WBR, help sponsor my trip, or meet me somewhere along the way. Thanks for visiting!
